Sir,

I read this article with interest. However, I believe that the domain scores reported for the musculoskeletal function assessment are the raw, unstandardised scores. These scores simply reflect the number of questions endorsed by the patient. Surely it is more useful to report the standardised scores; each domain is standardised at 100, allowing for comparison across the domains and accounting for any necessary recodes. If possible, it would be helpful for others planning to use the musculoskeletal function assessment as a reference to be able to see the standardised domain scores.
