Sir, We were interested to read this paper by Hanna et al as we have seen a case of bicondylar osteochondritis dessicans affecting both knees in a patient with spondylo-epiphyseal dysplasia tarda. We therefore disagree with the statement "no cases of OCD affecting both femoral condyles in the same knee have been described before", which appears in their discussion.
