Description: The Great Debate is an educational meeting aimed at exploring the current and developing issues surrounding early intervention in osteo-arthritis. Over this one and a half day meeting approximately 13 debates will unfold featuring input from an array of internationally known and respected key opinion leading surgeons. The theme of the meeting is interaction. Handsets are distributed to all delegates and can be used to vote on the developing issues. Anonymous, live polls of opinion will be broadcast on the IMAX screens allowing delegates to see where they stand in the group: Progressive, performing a small procedure early on; or conservative, avoiding an operation but undertaking a more serious procedure later on? The meeting is chaired by Professor Justin Cobb of Imperial College London and is held at the atmospheric IMAX Theatre in The Science Museum.
